Bill and Suzy purchased their Namahana Farms property in 2014. Bill is retired from a chemical engineering career with Air Products & Chemicals. Although they have been part-time residents so far, they will be full-time starting in January 2024 when Suzy retires and moves off of the farm in Missouri.

Holly Dyre was born on Kaua’i and lives in Namahana Farms with her husband and her 2 daughters. She has also lived in Japan, China, and New York City prior moving back home to raise her family.

Along with the Namahana Farms Community Association and Design Committee, Holly is actively involved in the Kaua‘i Watershed Alliance.

Her passions include surfing, snowboarding, free diving and studying hula. She is deeply committed to the Namahana Farms Community and wholeheartedly dedicated to carrying on her late father’s dream and vision.

Cody Seaber moved to Kauai with his wife Lauren and two children in March of 2023.

Cody grew up visiting Hawaii with his family and he and Lauren honeymooned on Kauai in 2015. Lauren jokes that they got in their “first married argument” that week because she didn’t want to return home.

After eight years of living and working in Dallas, TX, and continuing to visit Kauai for extended periods of time, they pursued the dream of being full time Kauai residents. What a tremendous blessing it is to have ended up in Namahana Farms- raising our kids immersed in nature.

Cody Co-founded and operates Auspi Group, a supply-chain consulting firm.

Carla moved to Kaua‘i in 2011 with her husband and two children from Richmond, Virginia. She and her family are those people that come on vacation and say they want to live here and actually did it! They didn't want to look back in ten years and say "what if".

During her professional career Carla was the general manager of a premium countertop company. Over her tenure the company grew from $200,000 in annual revenue to over $7,000,000.

Since moving to Kaua‘i she has become an avid tennis player. She also enjoys pickleball, mahjong, growing anthuriums, and is learning how to play bridge. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is a huge Wildcat Basketball Fan.

Design Committee

Michael R. Schmidt is one of the first Namahana Farms' owners since 2002. Michael is the Principal Broker of Bali Hai Realty, Inc. which assisted Mr. Ben Dyre in the creation of home sites and original developer sales. He is very familiar with the project and constantly promotes the "Good Neighbor" policy unique to Namahana Farms. Michael and his family reside near the beach in the Hanalei area.
